Lenno is the village on the most sheltered bay of the Tremezzina, with its lakefront, square and pier. On the wooded headland that closes the bay stands Villa del Balbianello, a FAI property, chosen as a film set for Casino Royale and Star Wars and one of the most requested wedding venues on the lake. One detail matters: cars do not reach the villa gate. You get there on foot or by boat from Lenno, so the drop-off point of the transfer is the village lakefront. A little further along the same road are Tremezzo and Villa Carlotta.
