From Bergamo Orio al Serio to Bellagio is about 64 km, yet it takes about 1 h 30: you leave the airport towards Lecco, cross the town and climb the SP583 along the shore of the Lecco branch, through Onno to the tip of the promontory. The kilometres are few but on ordinary and lakeside roads, narrow in the last stretch, and in season times are indicative. Public transport offers no simple route: Bellagio has no railway station and from Orio you first need a bus to a railway station, then a train and a ferry.
